For various reasons I have not been running for 3 months. However I've started again and just wanted to share my amazement that I haven't had to go back to W1R1. Bear in mind that when I started running for a minute was nigh on impossible, yet even after such a long gap W6 has been fine - so the benefits of C25K are actually long lasting.

Good news! We had a 20+ day gap during the holidays and was extremely concerned about that first run. Like you, other then going slower, we were impressed most of our fitness stayed with us. Real life seems to get in the way too often. Good job on getting out there! Gayle
