...and 'Hello' to week 9, hopefully as my quad went really stiff after the run again and am sat here with an ice pack on it. The run was OK, not great with quad muscles niggling and then in the last 5 minutes felt rather nauseous and really wanted to stop.
Anyway it's been a real learning curve as they say; since I started I've had persistent shin splints, (all gone now), numb feet(gone) and now a sore left quad. Things can only get better!!!
Good luck to anyone starting out, I hope I haven't put you off!!! I'm still losing weight and definitely toning up, so yes it's worth it and running in the sun round the park was lovely

Enjoy your grad week to the fullest! I'm thinking its my age, I am never pain free. Just when a knee feels good, the feet act up etc. You have done fantastic sticking with C25K and you will have earned that badge with honor! Gayle
Not far to go now Susie! I know your journey so far hasn't been the easiest for you but the finish line is now in sight and I have every confidence that your perseverance will pay off and we will all be celebrating your graduation very soon!
