Graduated some time ago but need something else to keep me going!

I graduated some time ago and can run reasonably comfortably for 30-40minutes, but never achieving 5k (more like 3k)! However, I feel I could do with the support of a podcast to get me back on track as I feel I'm not pushing myself and need somebody to listen to and tell me 'you can really do this'. So my question to all you fellow runners is : is there an app/podcasts that I can download to push me past my comfort zone and get me running the 10k which still feels very out of reach at the mo ;(

Have you tried the 5K+ podcasts?

Also the RunDouble app might be worth a look.

Have you started the distance version Fingalo? Just done w4r2 which is 3.2km -legs knackered but really enjoying focusing on distance rather than time.

This looks interesting. I dont have an android, but found a description on the coolrunning website. I'm going to give this a go as I'm stuck at running just over 4k most of the time. Soooo I'm going to try 4.4km this week. Wish me luck!

Definitely wishing you good luck. This distance version is apparently the original version so should be available elsewhere.

I've still to complete this thing Peabs but that's next on my agenda as I really want to be able to run my local 5k parkrun.

Am looking forward to giving it a lash though.

Hi. Well done on completing C25k. I started a 10k training programme this morning, which many people seem to be following on here. It's the Bridge 2 10k programme, which I downloaded from itunes. The one I downloaded is the Bluefin one, not sure if that's the only one but it seems quite good and has got me 'back on track' and focussing again.
