Hi everyone,

I'm on W2 of the program and have decided I want get support from this forum. What is the best way of doing this?

I've taken up running to support my weight loss

I train alone, so any help, tips and guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

You've come to the right place Margoxx. Are you also following the free NHS Choices 12-week weightloss plan? It is designed to work in tandem with Couch to 5K.

Here's a link to the plan:

We've also set up a Weightloss community:

Hi

I'm also on week 2, and just got back from run. Feel great, but will, like you, need support to keep going!

Completed w2, looking forward to w3r1. It's mentally hard for me, more than physical, it even makes me angry sometimes that I have to do it! Well, I don't HAVE to, but it's what I've set myself, so I have to carry on. So it's a real mix of elation, grumpiness and laziness.

Hi and welcome, use the forum however you feel, sometimes you'll want to share joy, other times a moan and then there are the questions, that you may think are daft, but we all had them. Enjoy it's great here :-)

This forum is full of like minded people who have got of the couch and are either just starting out as joggers/runners, half way through the C25K programme and those who have graduated, many with heaps of knowledge and ideas they are willing to share. There are quite a lot who have gone on to much greater things as 10K, 1/2 marathons etc so you will never be alone. Just come on here ask your questions, have a moan, tell us how you are getting on, confess your sins of being lazy perhaps. Its a friendly community and we love to know how the new memebrs are getting on so don't be shy and good luck.

Not what you're looking for?
