Still a week and a bit to go until W9 but this morning I knew Laura had been right when she said I was now a runner - I woke up, looked out the window at the grey, windy, sleety, snow-on-the-ground day but instead of groaning I was thinking to myself "Two layers or three?".
The 25-min run that followed may have been one of the coldest so far, and was certainly the slowest pace, but still felt good during and after.
I'm now thinking if that's how I feel in sub-zero temps, how good is it going to be running in the summer!

well done, it's lovely when you realise that the weather doesn't put you off. I quite like running in the rain. I must admit I wavered a bit this morning with so much snow and ice around, but once I got my gear on I was raring to go. Likewise, I took it very steady, this isn't the time of year to start setting speed records
Happy running, you have that graduate badge in your sights now..........
Well done pinkhat! We must be around the same stage, I just did wk8 r1 this morning, 28 minutes in the freezing rain, but it just makes you feel even better for getting out there, doesn't it? I really can't believe I'm this close to graduating, can you? Only 5 runs to go
