So W1R1 and W1R2 both went well, and I ran all eight sections - when I did R3 in the snow, however, I couldn't, mainly I think because of the extra effort involved in snow.
I'm running on the track tomorrow, which has been cleared of snow - so do I move onto W2 or not?

How much of run 3 did you do? Did you end up putting in pretty much as much effort as you did in the first two runs, even though you stopped? Running in snow does seem to take a lot more effort for the same time/distance.
Even though the track is cleared of snow, presumably it will still be pretty cold, so you might be better off to do R3 anyway. It won't make all that much difference to how long the whole programme takes, and week 2 will be easier if your legs are really ready for it. You could always only take one day's rest between week 1 and week 2 if that works for you. Some people take 2 days, so they can run on the same days each week, but I've mostly only taken one rest day because I'm too impatient!
Only you can judge really - but enjoy it whichever one you do.
the thing is, temperatures haven't changed much here, we've just had precipitation - R1 and R2 were both in 0 or 1 degree =/ I might get out there and then see what I feel like.
