So, I promised I would keep you lovely people updated on my progress after starting the programme for a second time after a stroke in September last year. If you remember I'd completed the programme early last year was quite happily doing 5k every other day and then very inconveniently had a stroke. Anyway, after getting over the worse I decided that C25K was the best exercise for me before so why not again? With the ok from my consultant I started again back at week one and I cant put into words the overwhelming feeling I had just putting my trainers back on. I've just completed week 2 and I don't care one jot if if cant get to week 3 for a year I'm so relieved to be able to be even walking and talking. Trust in the programme and take 1 week at a time, it works......

Well done maybe I should stop making excuses of my age and just get on with it, as I have read in another blog even if my running bit is a bit faster than my walking maybe then I can do it lol

Well done you, daisylou.

nannyp - even if your running is a lot *slower* than your walking, it's still running! Go for it!
