Week 1 (second time round)...........4 months after stroke

September 2012 I was running 5k every other day after successfully completing the C25K programme and was delighted at how well I felt. I unfortunately then had a stroke which totally got in the way of my running programme. My consultant was very keen for me to get back to normal and positively encouraged me to start the programme again. So here I am, back at week 1 (second run done) but feeling massively proud of what I've achieved. Any doubts, size, shape, experience etc put to one side and seize the moment. Go for it !!

Welcome back and good luck with your next run. It says a lot about C25K that you have the confidence to use it again. I look forward to reading your future blogs.
