My next challenge - running while carrying more than a bum bag.....! :)

No sooner did I graduate than I began feeling unwell and haven't really been out much since. It has since transpired that I am due another baby in the summer!! However, my GP assures me that I can continue as normal for as long as I feel comfortable. So, rather than trying to pick up the pace, my new goal is maintenance of the status quo for as long as I can...!!!

Well done but please be careful. Running is not so important to risk anything for. Good luck, Ed

congratulations!!!! fantastic news :) am reading a book at the mo that said that the "author" ran until she was 25 weeks. not sure if I would do that personally, but, heyho, just go with how you feel. may even help with that dreaded morning sickness :)

Congratulations.

Running with that little one will make your runs so special, you'll probably remember them for the rest of your life :-).

Congratulations, Sara :-)

Congratulations, lovely news! That baby will grow up to be a runner, I bet! But don't push yourself if you're feeling tired or unwell. X

Congratulations ! Listen to your body and don't over do it. I couldn't have run when I was pregnant but lots of people do, Nell McAndrew who writes a column in Women's Running is pregnant and planning too keep running so you may find tips in the magazine.

Congratulations! Enjoy running for two :-) Those endorphins will make for a very happy baby ;-)

I used to do serious weight training and didn't stop until I was around 5 months pregnant, when everything felt a bit stretchier than usual. I didn't want to end up with a dodgy back, so I switched to yoga and long daily walks. Go with the flow and listen to your body, you'll know when to ease back a bit.

How exciting, is this going to be the first C25K community baby? :-D

take care x
