Can this be true...I don't believe what I see...

Okay, so Wk8 R2 with my new Garmin 110. First the good news. I seem to have got my mojo back!

According to the readout when I stopped, I ran for 37 mins, covering 5.4K. Wowsers. I really didn't expect that. I set off to push myself to see what I am capable of, running at my own steady not-so-fast pace.

Now the bad news. I'm having real problems getting the data uploaded. I've gone through all the setting up, updating software blah blah and at one point actually got a collecting data message but then had to update something else and now it just won't recognise the device.

At the moment it's recharging and I'm hoping that once that's done it just might connect. Bit of a letdown though - I was really excited about using it and want to start recording accurately what I'm achieving. Any advice?

A memory stirs... you make me think of a man... some years ago...

Congrats on the excellent week 8 run. Although it looks more like a week 9 run -- or beyond -- from what you've described! Sounds like the new toy is working out, too! Huzzah!

Hahaha... a man (I assume!) after my own heart there IronMatt!!

Yep, and I have now managed to upload the data. I'm really shocked by the distance and time; I just kept going as I felt reasonably comfortable but wanted to push myself past my mental barrier so that I know I can do 30 minutes and/or 5k. At this stage I'm not overly concerned with pace - just keeping going!
