Well thats w7r3 done but I am not sure about week 8.
Up to now I have finished a week feeling there was some more left in the tank but not this time. I was glad to stop bang on the 25mins. Whats more to get in 28 mins I will now have to do "the slope" twice. Oh well we will see....

You've come so far, don't doubt yourself and Laura now. I'm a great believer in taking an extra rest day now and again to keep myself fresh (it's all relative!) and usually find I do so much better on my next run. Good luck, we're all here wishing you well!
Yes - an extra rest day can work wonders. Go out with a positive attitude - and you could always avoid your slope first time, just turn and run back the way you came for a bit
There's absolutely no reason why you shouldn't complete W8R1, but for argument's sake let's say you do stop after 25 minutes. That would mean you'd had a good run, building up more fitness etc etc etc. Not a W8 run, just a good run. Definitely not a disaster.
