Which run were you doing? Why could you not continue? Were you out of breath or did you have pain somewhere? If you were out of breath try running it again in a couple of days. Everyone had good runs and bad runs. If you're struggling just repeat the last week you did okay then move on again. If you are in pain it's best to rest it and not run again until it's better.

dont beat yourself up - as pp asked, what made it so hard you couldnt continue?

Dont give up, worst comes to worst go back a week and give yourself more time

Also just to add, that if it the problem is about being out of breath, maybe slow down. The aim of this programme is to complete the time running, speed is something to work on later :) Good luck!

we all have bad runs, better than not running. hey just get the trainers back on again and try again, simple as that.

Don't be disheartened most of us have a an awful run somewhere along the line (and thoses that say they haven't probably have too)

As we push ourselves to acheive that little bit more of course we'll find it hard. Add cold weather, dark nights, miserable weather, normal life gettiing in the way and it's no wonder things don't always go to plan.

Try not to dwell on it. If you want to repeat the last run then move on. You can do it.

A few weeks ago I not only couldn't keep going I also finished up needing to lie down on a grass verge to recover before walking home.

Since then I've gone out and just run as far as I've felt able.. plus a little more. I also started going to the gym to work on some more general fitness. I felt as though I'd hit a wal at a maximum of 13 minutes running on a good day.

Today I managed the aborted W6R2 reasonably comfortably.

Put it behind you and remember that just getting out there is always a win situation.
