05:15 its dark, cold & raining. My left hip has a dull ache & I could leave this till tomorrow. I faffed about for 15 mins thinking up reasons not to go, then I went.

I did the whole of my route in 30:02 mins which means a pace of 12 mph (best yet) including the 5 min walk on & the 3 min walk off (I ran an 8 and a 9) so I must be going quicker in the run phase. Luckily the middle 5 min walk was on the gradient

So, confidence up, I am ready to have a go at the 20mins but think I might leave it till Saturday and rest this hip for two days.

What a great time, Orroroo! I would definitely say leave at least 2 days before you run with your sore hip. There's no hurry to complete the programme - running is for life, not just for Christmas! Cheesy or what! :)

Thanks for this, I like cheese, one of the reasons I need to run. I am definitely going to leave it until Saturday even though it feels much better now.
