So as some of you have read, I'm injured at the moment. Booooo!
I have been limping for a week and a half and I'm so fed up. I finally managed to see a Sports therapist yesterday, so at least i'm doing something more than just complaining about it!
After a thorough examination of said bad leg, he diagnosed a torn calf muscle, which is causing the pain in my ankle and foot. (not my achilles thankfully). I have exercises to do and have been advised complete rest...well as much rest as a 17 month old whose just found her feet will let you have! So all in all...I am still rowing not running (which just isn't the same) and don't know how long it will be before I can run again, but I have another appointment next week and at least I know what I'm doing is helping not hindering.

Oh no, sounds painful but at least you have had a diagnosis and so know how to treat it. It's not much fun not being able to run is it - I havent either for over a week due to a bad back but am hoping it will be better for this weekend. Hope you recover soon becks.
