6 day week?

just wondering if it would be ok to move on, still observing the rest day in between but thereby only taking 6 days instead of 7 for each weeks runs? (mon, wed, fri, sun, tue, thu, sat etc)

I think so. I've kind of kept to Mon-Sun weeks but that's just as it seemed to fit. So long as you have the rest days I'm sure it'll be OK

Yes, a lot of us did that. Do whatever is best for you.

Yes, I do that. I ran every other day throughout the programme (apart from a couple of runs when life got in the way) and am still doing that post graduation, rather than following a calendar week.

Sure! Don't skip the rest day... but there is no reason to add another. A six day week is fine!

I ran every other day during the programme, and continue to do that post-graduation. As other have said, sometimes life gets in the way, but otherwise I try to keep up a continuous rotation of running one day and swimming the next. Rinse and repeat.

Have fun!

Thanks all, I thought it would be ok, but thought I'd better check before ploughing on headlong. And Ali, yes I am like a dog with a bone when I set my mind to a thing. It keeps my mind off missing hubby - he is in the navy. At least I should be fit and slinky for when he gets back! Louise x

Why not ask on the website before doing that? The system is in place for a reason rfawag and maybe we do need to take 2 every weekend? Ask the experts, then get back and let us know :-)
