So pleased! Managed my second week 8 run. I've dropped Laura [reluctantly but the music is not the best] and created my own playlist which has made such a big difference. Started and ended with Chemical Brothers 'hey boy hey girl' which means I really start on a good pace and raise my game at the end.
I'm not breaking any records with my distance but the fact that I'm running for 28 minutes blows me away! I am so enjoying my running I actually went out on my birthday today for my second run in two days and loved it.
Not long til graduation!

Well done you !! I ditched Laura around W6 as I needed more beat and some familiar music for me to sing along to (in my head !) Doesn't matter about the distance, concentrate on getting to the 30mins and graduating. You can up your speed afterwards.
Good luck with graduation, let us know how you get on, Cathy
Happy Birthday and well done. I was glad to use my own music by that point too! Used to start and finish with an old favourite, Pump it up by Elvis Costello.
