So I have really rested my hip and not run in almost two weeks. My hill walking holiday with the grandchildren didn't bother me either so off I went this morning.

I kept it short just 4K and steady so as not to set the pain off again. I've stretched twice as many as I would normally do so fingers crossed that by tomorrow I will be OK. Then I can get going on Tuesday and try and find my mojo cos it sure wasn't with me this morning. Its strange but I usually run quite easily if you know what I mean but this morning took effort, must be my age! :)

Weather forecast for the NE Scotland, cool crisp and sunny, a beautiful morning in fact ;)

good to hear you've been able to get back out. my 4k this morning wasn't easy; calves screeming all the way to stop!

would love a beautiful sunny morning (however cold)...here damp, murky and grey! Well at least it wasn't raining :)

yay what a relief for you to be out again. Really pleased for you. Been a bit quiet around here lately!!!! Hope your hip behaves and all proceeds smoothly. Enjoy the sun. it is grey and drizzly down in the south east
