Get thee behind me Gremlins.... and push :)

Well after Thursday's pathetic attempt, I finally managed the first of Week 9 runs this morning :) I thought I kept a steady pace all the way through, but apparently not.... however, I don't care at this moment in time. I ran for 30 minutes and completed the 5K at the same time. The gremlins were there but I managed to ignore them this time, I took a totally different route, which involved a few more hills (felt like mountains!!) than usual. Two more runs til I graduate.... yippee :)

  • Brilliant stuff eshaz14. And your 5K to boot at the same time. Congratulations to you and good luck with the last two runs. We're nearly there!! :)

  • Woo hoo well done, that is a great achievement.

  • Fantastic well done not long to go now. Keep going

  • Brilliant eshaz14. You are doing so well and graduation is really in sight. A change of route can be just what you need. I've made tweaks depending on time of day etc and it often helps just to be doing something slightly different. Only two runs to go - just one behind me - so graduating at much the same time. What next? I'm planning to download the c2k+ podcasts very shortly. Might even make a start this coming week. Good luck.

  • Well done for persevering eshaz14 I knew you could do it!! Like others have said a change of route helps and confuses those gremlins on your shoulder! I'm on w8r3 tonight, there seems to be quite a few of us graduating together. Good luck you're nearly there!
