A question for ladies....

Do any of you get spotting/bleeding after running? I've been spotting a few months now and it sort of coincides with starting c25k, although I was having the odd day of spotting prior to this. It has definitely got worse.

Apologies if this is TMI & thanks in advance

I don't but I would be concerned if I did. Would you be happy to go and chat with your GP/local sexual health clinic?

Yes!! I have made an appointment with my doctor to talk to them about it as it has been happening more often. For me there is a possibility that it is actually something else but I do want to ask if there is a connection with running as well.

Feel free to DM me if you want to discuss further but don't want to do so in an open forum.

And this running malarkey is supposed to be good for us :)

Hi Victoria_Plum, yes I've seen a nurse at my surgery a couple of times. I have no worries about my sexual health but had checks and all ok. Advised to keep a chart, see my g.p in a couple of weeks.

I've googled bleeding post running and a few people have commented that it happens to them. It may be my age, early 40's, I could be approaching the dreaded menopause but I know I need to get it sorted as it's worrying me. :-(
