Aldi and Lidl have sports wear just now have you tried them?

I haven't bought anything from these sites but have seen them recommended for a better range of sizes - eveactivewear.co.uk or decathlon.co.uk

Next do up to 20/22 and is good quality when you get to that stage :-) and the karrimor stuff from Sports Direct is pretty generous up to about an 18 (in fact the men's running tights would probably do a lady in 20 easily), I'm a 16/18 and find their stuff pretty good and well fitting.

Happy running x

am sure asda or sainsbury was doing sports wear in larger sizes? maybe have a look online. & can confirm that next sizing is pretty acurate, even slightly generous, as I have a capri type legging with a skirt attached to hide my bum, that came from there.

good luck with your hunt.

Youve just reminded me I have to shorten my skort that I bought from Lidl way back at the beginning of the summer, never got fine enough days to wear it yet ;)

M&S are certainly doing sports wear in a Size 22 - maybe worth a look and try on to see if anything is suitable.

I don't really have an answer (since I live in NZ) but I thought I would commiserate as I had the same problem looking for bike pants. I find it interesting that everyone tells us bigger people to exercise but then we cannot find any decent gear to wear! Good luck, I hope you find something!

Hi unfit4now

I agree with you that everyone says bigger people need to exercise along with sorting out their diet but its exasperating that its difficult to find anything decent (looking and price wise). I think manufacturers take advantage in this respect.

I have a couple of pairs of leggings but I find these tend to wear a bit in the crotch area after a while. I read an article recently in Women's Running about how its not always the best thing for bigger people to cover themselves up with baggy clothes - easy for them to say but if you are self conscious you dont want to drawn attention to any wobbly bits you may have!

This company (stateofmindactive.com/) so up to size 26 but the range of bottoms isn't very good - there are only three different types. They are quite expensive but good quality. I recently got a top for running from them, and it's quite tight fitting for the size but is nicely made and washes well!

Hi
