15k on the gym bike. Heel very sore today (trying not to limp n front of hubby lol!). Think tomorrow will be cross trainer. Hopefully manage a run on Thursday. Tomorrow is always and I am more than happy with my 200km.

I ran outside tonight for the first time in ages, I did the stepping stones podcast.
Halfway through I slipped in some mud, I fell pretty hard into a deep muddy puddle.
Through me off my stride a bit but I finished my run.
It was dark by the time I finished which I'll need to remember in future.

Oh now, I'm sorry to hear your heel is sore again.
Today I did 16.5 km on my mountain bike. Some of that was off-road on a riverside path, which was very slippery today. I choose to get off and push my bike in places as I was scared I'd slip sideways into the river.
My son came along too and this cycle was a recce to remind myself of this path that I'd walked about a year ago, with a view to it being a nice running path. But they've gone and dug up the path in one spot - and there is a 100m length of thick, gloopy mud to negotiate now. I'm not sure what they are doing - they've not simply ploughed a field, but are digging deep with an excavator. I think they may be removing a whole mass of gorse bushes from this area.
I've now done 264 km.
I've been posting photos of some of my 5x50 excursions in an album on my Facebook page. I think I made it open to anyone. If anyone is interested it's here:

Nice photos, you are lucky to have such nice routes nearby.
Just as well that I do, as I don't have a car to be go further afield during the week. 5x50 has coincided with hubby - who'd supposed to be semi-retired, but doing occasional consultancy work - getting a almost full-time temporary position and needing the car every day.
