10K?????
No, there isn't. I, like other C25K graduates, searched online to find a plan that suits our needs and commitments. There are very many different 10K training plans out there.
I devised my own plan based on the Bupa 10K training plan that some others here recommended: bupa.co.uk/running/training...
My 'variation' of this plan is simply to do one of the "Run 30 minutes continuously" (or 40 mins as the weeks progress) sessions each week on a hilly course, and/or one with speed intervals. These sessions are hard, but I'm pushing myself because I know they will increase my fitness.
By comparison, the long, slow run each week is easy and is a fun session. As I mentioned in a blog, I did this on Sunday with my son's girlfriend running at what to me was a very slow pace and I ran for 8.5 km. I felt I could have gone further, but knew not to push it. It's advisable not to increase the total weekly distance by more than 10% each week.
