C25k Wk5 R1. Dark, cold, wet and windy - Perfect!

Well the weather has been dreadful so I put off going out yesterday, but this morning wasn't much better. Dark, cold, wet and windy - perfect! As much as I wanted to hide in bed I knew that this was going to last until March at least and therefore had better get used to it! So got my shorts on and a light hooded water proof and set off. So immediate issues... My glasses don't stay on as well in the wet when running! My earphones also slide out of my ears! The pockets in this waterproof aren't, well, waterproof and so any attempt to start the podcast means fingers just sliding around the iPhone not doing anything! Apart from that it was a great run, took the pace easy and resented the walks to be honest. Was great to get back to a hot bath before starting work as well. Still hoping for better weather for Wk5 R2 though!

Wow, good on you that's determination! I'm hoping the rain's going to ease off later so I can go out, wk4r2 ;)

Sounds like a great run even with the bad weather. Hopefully you'll have clear sky's for the next run. Congrats and welcome to week 5!
