Completed my first 10k yesterday after graduating a few weeks ago.
My time was not important (to me) just wanted to finish.
It is truly amazing what you can do if you follow the C25k plan - I have never enjoyed running and previously could only have dreamed of running non stop for over an hour.
Now I need to work on my speed - any tips?

Congratulations on your 10k acheievment, I look forward to joining you in that acheievment in a few weeks
Well done Gaz that didn't take you long at all, congratulations. I don't think you need any tips for reducing your time you seem to be doing just fine. But this it what I do, I just mix up my running these days, short fast runs, with HIIT included, then a 5K and a mid distance 6.5-7.5K with some hill work thrown in to build strength and stamina. I don't do a 10K very often but have managed to knock off 1 minute from my last PB. Enjoy thats the main thing.
