I did W9R1 today. Except, since I've already done 5 x 30 mins runs and I'm starting a 10K training plan, I ran for 35 mins as per my 10K plan.
The first 4 km felt really good (except for a few mins when my left leg threatened to cramp as it did yesterday when I was doing yoga!) and I kept a nice steady, easy pace. Then around 4 km I suddenly felt quite tired and and had to dig deep to keep going. .As I hit the smooth surface road again just before 5 km it felt easier, but I was glad to stop at 35 mins. Total distance running = 5.36 km,
This route leaves me a 3 km walk back and I ran 2 x 3 mins of this - once when Queen's "We Will rock You" came on my mp3 player and once when it started raining.
I hope the ankle support helps and your ankle is not aggravated by your running or walking.
My total is 20K and maybe I'm daft, but I'm quite chuffed to see that figure there when I log onto the site, I've not used an online fitness/activity recording site before, so this is new to me!
I'm cycling tomorrow too. I've been teased by a cycling friend who has told me to get back on my bike - which has been neglected since starting running - and I promised her I'd have some photos from cycle routes to share during this challenge. Also, I wish to go further than I can manage from the house on foot.
