I have just started week 8, I found week 7 running 25 mins difficult, and that I really needed to push myself. I did it 5 times as i didnt feel confident to move on. 28 mins today has killed me, it has to get easier
Week 8: I have just started week 8, I found week... - Couch to 5K
Week 8
I found R1 really hard, and jacked it in at about 20 mins (it also was bucketing down!); R2 was good - I was really determined to crack it. So I think it does get easier! And just think where we were a few weeks ago - we are doing really well! Good luck.
I am on week 9 and really enjoying running now. I start off slow until I get a rhythm going with my breathing and then I try to enjoy the scenery and the fresh air. Sometimes I can up my pace but as soon as I start to struggle with my breathing or if my legs start to ache I just slow it right down. I have completed every run so far and will worry about how fast I go after I graduate. Keep on running, you've done so well. Xxx
Thank you for the comments they are really encouraging. I did the second run today and I felt alot better about it, It wasnt so much of a struggle, though I seem to be getting quiet a few blisters hence the user name. Is this something other people struggle with i could hardly walk after the last run. I have managed to complete each run but very slowly but at the moment it just geting throught the time, trying to speed up will come later on
