I'm doing that now and I am in my 3rd week. (4 mile run this weekend! Aggghhh!)

I have started running a hillier route, so I'm not doing any strength (weights) work as I just don't have the energy to do it!

I rest on the Monday after my long run and walk on the flex days.

I haven't failed a run so far, so I'll stick to what I'm doing.

Perhaps kettlebells is a good idea for the strength? Stretch, I suppose, you just do a load of stretches - I don't do them vigorously as I have issues with my knees.

I suppose, as it says in the description that you do what you feel comfortbale with!
