Couch to 5K completed...!

I never thought I would be blogging to say I had completed this!

I am 37, and in spite of a 4 stone weight loss, remain extremely heavy, scale wise. So as a 'chubby' Week 1 to Week 9 has been a challenge, it has taken me around 10 weeks....I ran for 30 minutes non stop three days ago (and then cried five times thereafter). The sheer emotion of completing something I thought I could not, together with knowing inside how much this means to me, just overwhelmed me!

The programme itself is fantastic - when I started a one minute run, I thought I would explode...but slowly and surely progress really does take place.

A big part of this is confidence - talk to everyone you can about it....support makes all the difference (as does the gear!).

Honestly, if I can do this, anyone can!
