Hi everyone. I started C25k yesterday, I'm just wondering if people do any other exercise on their off day..

I don't atm, but I am hoping to get a bike and use that on my day off :)

I do between 5 & 10 miles of cycling on my days off although I am taking a break from that while I start my big runs (20 mins tomorrow).

hi I exercise on my days off, it helps my legs from aching when I run, I do zumba and tae boe with weights at the end of each session. I have just started week 3 and never thought I'd get this far. this site is great as it motivates you when you read the blogs other people put on. good luck

i have been a total couch potato since having my baby 4 months ago, last night i went for a brisk walk / jog with the dog was pooped after 15 mins.

Hubby downloaded the couch to 5k to my ipod for me last night so i start properly tonight

today i've done 20 minutes on the wii - yoga and muscle exercise just to keep me supple (who am i kidding) one day at a time

I do Jillian Michaels 30 day shred on my alternative days, with one complete day of rest a week.

I've got that DVD, really good, but it hurt my shins, where as jogging don't.

It's a good idea to do something on your days off, just don't run. Swim, dance, cycle, walk etc.

Thanks everyone...I did try to do Jillian Michelle's 6 wk 6 pack but boy does she move fast in it.. To fast for me to keep up. So today I just done core exercises from an app I have... Thanks once again x

I run with a club on Tuesdays and Thursday and try to do a longish run on a Sunday. On Wednesdays I go to a yoga class and on Saturdays I spend 1 1/2 hours at the gym. I want to start cycling to work on one day a week (8miles each way) and spend some time on the neglected cross trainer I've got at home.
