I am just about to embark on C25K and wondering how long a 'session' on week 1 lasts so I know what I am preparing for! thanks
The podcast lasts for about 32 minutes
- but don't panic - a lot if that is walking ! ??
Yeah, there's 8 mins of running in total, and that is spread into 60 second chunks. For the first day I took it really easy just to make it to the end of the podcast, then managed to step it up the second time when I knew what i was letting myself in for.
Although the sessions last approximately 30 minutes I tend to allow an hour out of my day, this gives me chance to have a glass of water, a breather and a shower!

If you want some inspiration watch the Youtube clip, 'Running for my existence'. Very inspirational, and even tear-jerking.
I thought I would find it difficult but, as others have said, it is broken down into manageable chunks. Now I love my runs. Welcome to the programme, just go out and enjoy it. All the very best of luck with your first session.
