does jogging make your nose run?

because for some reason it seems to make mine run, and I wondered if this was normal, and if so why does it occur?

Yes, but all outdoor exercise does it to me, especially in cold weather - can be a number of reasons I believe, allergies, etc, but I think there is actually a condition called exercise-induced rhinitis, which basically means a drippy nose all the way through for no particular reason whatsoever...

yes mine used to run all the time but I've found since I completed the programme that it's not nearly so bad. Can now run 5k and blow my nose only once.

There's an old joke about your nose running and your feet smelling .....

I do find myself sniffing and coughing a little bit, I suppose with all the breathing your nose and lungs work overtime! I would not worry about it if I were you, unless it's extreme.

Yes and as I can't be bothered to fish around for a hankie in case I lose my rhythm, I go along sniffing rather revoltingly. Good job its a fairly unpopulated route. :D
