Own worst enemy.

Six weeks ago, I couldn't run. More than that, I WOULDN'T run.

I've always had problems with my ankles since I spent much of my childhood with various plaster casts on my feet. I sort of got it into my head then that I couldn't run, because my ankles weren't strong enough.

So when I decided to make a change and take up the C25K plan, it wasn't just taking up exercise, it was getting over my own prejudices. I won't lie, it was really difficult when I started, but now I'm actually enjoying it. I look forward to getting out there and pushing myself. It is still hard, but the sense of achievement when I get through it is amazing.

I've lost weight (down 8 pounds so far) and still going!!

I do really think I have been my own worst enemy, but now I am determined to be my best ally.

Well done you, that's amazing. Keep up the good work. I know what you mean about being hard, but the sense of self achievement is well worth it and it's addictive lol. Well done you :-)
