Found today's run easier than the first...and definitely easier than yesterday's outdoor version of a week 1 run ... which means I have to keep at the outdoor runs.
I felt like I could have run for longer..which I hope continues next run as I had a peek at week 4...5 mins eek!

You're doing great, beatasthma....as you get some more "miles" in your breathing may improve. Are you using an inhaler before you run? Once I realized (duh) how much of my labouring on the runs was because I was having trouble breathing, and started using my inhaler before, I DID start feeling better. Yesterday I was able to run 3.2 miles at 23° and 65% humidity with only one puff from the inhaler. I didn't wheeze once during the entire run. A vast improvement over my weeks 6 and 7. Good luck to you.
I don't know how you run in those conditions, but I admire you! Like you I take the blue inhaler just before I start, today I only did that...none during and no wheezing for me either! I think you're right about the miles under the belt...my lungs have seen an improvement already..the stairs in my flat are not a problem any more.
Hope I can find some of your resolve when I head off to Spain next week...not a big fan of the heat for running in.
