I did my second run of week 3 this morning, after setting my alarm (reasonably) early! I thought I would try a different route today and set out straight from the house, rather than driving for 10 minutes to the beach.
The 5 minute warm-up walk could not have been more perfectly timed, as I just made it to the cycle path when I needed to start running. There was a few builders on the way there, but I deliberately turned the music up really loud so that I could just walk right past them. To be honest, I found the whole run exactly the same as Sunday, but the 3 minutes didn't seem nearly as long. I even managed to do a quick 2 minute run after the cool-down walk! I'm really excited about starting week 4. It feels good to be running for the same amount of time that you're walking!
