Just completed week7! Even though I have run 25 minutes 4 times now it's still really hard work. Each time I think "my legs ache I need to stop" but somehow I manage to keep on. Think this has been my hardest week, less of Laura on the podcasts, music not so good and struggling with self belief. Must stay positive!!

You did it, well done! If your legs ache, can you change your route to a flatter one? Try and do what Laura says about landing lightly on the feet, heels first and, because there's less of Laura on the podcasts, you might want to try an app called Get Running which has the same programme but allows you to play your own music. You're doing so well, keep going!

I have just done W8R1 and found it easier than than W7. I think I was on such a high after managing 20 mins I thought the following weeks would be easier. I was wrong. I did find the 25 mins a struggle and the podcasts so boring. I am just about to invest in an MP3 player as after reading other blogs it seems your own music is so much better to listen to.

PS my route is also fairly flat apart from the one time I tried to change it and started uphill - never again ; )
I think the further you get into the plan the more mental it becomes. Just have to dig deep (or that's what I am telling myself) and keep those little feet going!!
Oh Mrshazza I am feeling the same - week 7 run 3 has been waiting for me since Friday and I've found excuses not to go this weekend. I manage 20 minutes ok but the extra 5 minutes is nearly killing me so much so that I am making excuses like a bit of rain and that would never have bothered me before. Need to get me motivated again!
