I am officially a runner!

25 minute run through rain and mud and I loved it! Also had 0.5 kg weights on each wrist as I just can't fit a body pump class into my schedule as I had originally planned. It was fantastic to hear those longed for words from Laura " you are officially a runner". So happy! Over the weekend my 2 eldest daughters (21 & 19) admitted that they didn't think I would stick to this. How very dare they! I have well and truly proved them wrong. Ain't no stopping me now.

Well done you. I'm just joining and about to start, feeling very nervous about it. Made up my mind though and start tomorrow:-/

Just go for it, it might just change your life. The past 6 weeks have flown by for me and before you know it you'll be on the long runs too. Good luck and keep us posted.

You'll do great, Jimbob! I didn't think I'd ever be able to run and I'm careening into week 5. It's not exactly 30 minutes yet, but it's longer than I've ever run in my life and I'm proud.

C25k has really changed me - I really look forward to my runs. Go for it! :)

Well done you! Doesn't it feel great to hear Laura say that. I must admit I used the W6 R3 podcast for 2 of my week 7 runs just to remind myself! No distance now until the magic W9!

well done its great when she says that I have that printed on my pin board by the treadmill for the days I seriously doubt putting 1 foot in front of the other.

Brilliant, congratulations! I was supposed to do that run today, but have to admit I whimped out. I was just so tired, had a dodgy tum and and it was pouring with rain - just couldn't face it. It's the first time I've not done a run, but the idea of 25mins feeling awful was just too much :-(
