So glad I entered for this race a while ago, it certainly got me out of bed at times when I didn't feel like jogging. Just a tip for those do it for the first time - rather start at back of the runners than go with the joggers! It doesn't take much to get caught up in bottlenecks and having to walk through it.
Still, 38 minutes and I'll continue doing this, such fun!

That's a good tip, took me a couple of ParkRuns to figure it out.
If you start near the front the really quick ones just go past, some stay behind so you miss the bottle necks as you say and you naturally end up running with people of your own pace.
I ran my first Race for Life today and would really have liked this advice. I was midway among the joggers at the start, it would definitely have been better to start immediately behind the runners. Lots of bottlenecks for this first 15 minutes I'd say but still thoroughly enjoyed it. Well done to you.
