I am on wk3 and struggling. I have ran on grass from wk 1 but now the sequences are longer have had to incorporate a run through the woods, although it has been muddy I have found this last run easier, now I am dreading going back onto grass but dont feel ready to run *in public* on the pavement yet and the wood is not long enough to incorporate the whole session.

I started off runing round the local football pitch but when it got muddy moved to the pavements. I dont care who sees me at least i am trying ot get myself fit and i do stress trying lol..
You just need the confidence to do the run in pubic, i have people on bikes givingme encouragment and other runners to. gives u that boost of confidence. if i can do it any one can
Must admit I prefer running in the woods. I think because you can't see so far ahead the hills are less intimidating.
Choosing a route as you get fitter becomes a challenge but also adds interest. If there isn't much scope where you live try a sort of cloverleaf of loops rather than out and back or single circuit.
Don't worry about being seen. People just ignore joggers and with headphones in it's easy to blank them out too.
Thanks for the comments, I am going to run in public 2mo and also stick to the stretch of woods, I can make a route out of this that will get longer the further I progress, I hope!
