....and I did it. So yesterday morning was feeling a little nervous about the run but arrived feeling buoyed up by the other 1999 women ready to complete the 5k one way or another. Was a beautiful morning and I had my sunnies on. Off we went and I weaved around the walkers and was feeling positive when the heavens opened and it absolutely poured down. Torrential rain which happens to be my fave running conditions. Anyway. I did it. In 35 minutes. Very pleased with myself and all the other ladies who ran/walked/jogged yesterday for a very worthy cause.
Just can't walk today.........

Well done you. I've got mine next Sunday and it will be my first run of week 8. I'll be happy if I post a sub-40min time. My 11 year-old niece did it in 24min 20s yesterday, but she has youth on her side.
