Blister plasters are a life saver!! i got quite a big blister which took a week to go but could carry on training as soon as i put a blister patch on!

Make sure you do your laces up tightly as a good pair of trainers shouldn't give you blisters. I got my proper trainers in week 2 and ran in them straight away with no problems

Decent socks make all the difference. may be worth popping along to sports direct.

More Mile socks are the best thing since sliced bread, 2 pairs for about £7 from Amazon, they are sized and shaped to your feet, L for left R for right foot, they really are great. Nike do something similar but at 3 times the price. Come in sizes 2-5 too which fit my little size 3 feet to perfection.

Compeed blister plasters. And make sure your running shoes are big enough for your feet to swell. Mine are a size larger than I usually wear. Sounds counterintuitive but my running shoes haven't given me a blister. (Unlike other of my footwear!)

Anti blister socks! They comprise of 2 layers of fabric, 1 moves with your foot, the other with your trainers. I've been using these from day 1 with brand new trainers with no rubbing whatsoever! Highly recommend them.

I got mine from Sweatshop at an astronomical £11 a pair! Dont get me wrong, they are worth every penny but I am sure you can find them cheaper elsewhere.
