You get duped into thinking that Wk 6 D 1 was easier than Wk 5 D 3. Ha, that's what it wants you to think!

I was mentally prepared to suffer today and by damned, through the last 2 minutes, I did. Like running through treacle.

Because I ran 20 mins in Friday, you get all, ah, this 5 & 8 minutes lark is easy. It is not.

The clever little bugger punished me for taking the first 5 and the 8 minute run too fast. RESPECT ME, it was shouting.

Lesson learned. And I quite enjoyed it, truth be told!

So, if you are heading for week 6 today, you can do it and do it with style, just do not take it lightly!

(Ooo, the Fog reference was relating to the thick fog this morning - could only see about 10 metres in front of me!)

It got me like that too absolutely hated that run and almost didnt finish but the 2 x10's in the next run were much better.

That was a hard run for me too. Psychologically I thought I was a runner, not a runner/walker after W5R3. This programme can be very grounding! Good luck with the rest! :)

Agree entirely! Did W6R1 this morning and think I was getting a bit too cocky! I managed to complete, but wasn't impressed with myself. Got to be more focused on Thursday for W6R2.

Weird isn't it?! Hopefully I can nail Day 2 tomorrow so that I can get it out of my system!
