My running or jogging can only be described as a very fast walk just like the marathon walkers, is that ok for this stage? I still struggle especially the first 10mins or so and then managed to get into a jogging rhythm. Every now and then have to check my posture as my back was hurting and make myself jog faster. Should I not be better at all this by now??

10 minutes are torture for most of us do don't worry about that. Speed is also something that will come with practice, as is posture and form. Keep going as you are, you're doing great :)

Its called the toxic ten and its the hardest part of the run for most of us, there are lots of good reasons for this but none of them make it feel any easier!

When running make sure you look ahead and not down, this should help your posture. You should run as fast as you can but are still able to make the time. Remember you are not training for the Olympics, speed it not important, endurance is. Remember how week one was? Do you still think that you have not got better?

You can run for 28 minutes so I would say that you are pretty good at this already :)

Keep doing what you are doing, that green badge is only a week away.

Thanks Mirella and Anonymous36, run 2 this morning just as hard but kept telling myself that after 10mins it gets better and did try and not look down as much. Almost there the I shall battle with speed. Thanks again. This is such a good forum. Xx
