w5r3 in the bag!!

ive just completed w5r3 i cant beleive how far ive come in such a short space of time. the best part was i could still breathe at the end yet 5 weeks ago i couldnt breathe after 1 minute let alone 20. when i got to the tough bit where my legs are screaming stop at me laura pipes in and tells me im halfway through which is so motivating and once you get to the last 5 mins endorphins kicked in and carried me through to the end. again it is a mental challenge although i think my legs are still going to feel this one tomorrow. im so loving this running lark.

  • Well done! You sound so buoyed up by it I'm almost looking forward to it! How do those endorphins feel? I haven't let mine out for so many years that I'm not sure what to expect! When do they start by the way, after 15 minutes? What larks, eh? Congratulations and thanks for being so inspiring.

  • well done. i start my wk 5 on saturday. got 1 run left on wk 4 which i will do on thursday

  • i have just completed run 2 of week 5 and I will try the 20 minutes run on Thursday. I was quite tired during the second 8 minutes run so I am worried about the 20 minutes!
