Just left the house for a short faster run this morning when the heavens opened, I was soaked in minutes. Made me run faster though I was hoping to do 2.65Km in 20 minutes but did it in 17.56!! Wahoo :)

I've had a go at mixing up my runs since graduation and I think its paying off. Longer runs with loops of ups and downs thrown in total 6.5Km, then an ordinary 5Km run and now what I'm calling my mad dash!!!! Really enjoyed my mad dash today, going to do it quite often. :P

You're doing so much! I went out for an interval session yesterday using the week 1 podcast and it is fun running faster isn't it? I can only keep it up for 60 seconds at a time though!

Me too!! I can also only walk then run as fast as I can not jog then run. I need the walks to catch my breath.

I've found that I can tell when Laura is about to say it's time for the next run because that is when my breathing has finally gone back to normal!!! ;-)

60 seconds run and then walk for 90 is absolutely fine and does the job just as good as run/jog. When I run for 60 seconds I actually feel like a 10 year old again! :) Well, until I stagger for the 90 second recovery!

Wow great, sounds like the interval training is paying off. :) I've been sitting at work all day looking at the rain and making excuses not to run tonight but you've inspired me so I'm going to do it!
