5K race = DONE

Yesterday, I ran the "race for life" at Glasgow Green. I managed to jog the WHOLE way whilst chatting with my friend. The first time I checked the time, we'd ran for 25 mins!! Then suddenly the end was in site. We both (novice runners) completed our first 5K in 36mins 12 seconds. To say i'm proud is an understatement.

The atmostphere was amazing. I seriously felt that I could have ran again - having people cheering us on, and telling us we were close was amazing! Didn't need my music at all!

So, there you go. I'm well and truly hooked!
