Sorry! 9k in an hour? I wish.......

My 9k!.....9k!.....9k!.... blog has misled some of you!

When i blogged that I'd passed another milestone by running for an hour.....what I meant was I'd never run an hour before, not that I'd done my 9k in that time!

The 9k took me 66 minutes ( which is 10 minutes longer than i've ever run before).

Not quite so impressive! But 9k is 9k!

Sorry guys, honest mistake by me!!!!!

Am ok, achey today after a 5 mile "tempo" run yesterday! Glad I have two rest days before a 7 mile run on Sun And 4 days off work woo hoo!

Ha ha ha I decided I better enter an event to keep me focussed so am doing a 10k on 17/6.IF it doesnt get too hot again! I downloaded a plan from runners world, started off with 3 x 2 mile runs and added a mile each weekend for the last few weeks so up to 7 on Sun. The tempo run last night was the 2nd hardest thing I have done (the 1st was my failed attempt at intervals last week!). And I prefer porridge to shredded wheat lol!
