New shoes!

A very short post today. Tried out my new shoes last night. Although it was nearly 10 and we'd had a thunderstorm, it was still a bit too warm for my liking.

New shoes felt very light and bouncy, and after 40 minutes of running (seemed like at least an hour to me at the time :)) I had no discomfort. The muscles in my legs were starting to feel like jelly though.

I think given my size I needed to invest in some better running shoes in order to give me the impact protection I need. If only I'd figured that out 10 weeks ago this might have been a whole lot eaisier.

  • Congrats on the new kicks. You are brave to have done all this running in old shoes to begin with. :) I am sure it will be even more pleasant now.
