Eeekk!! First ParkRun coming up!

Eeekk, I've got my first ParkRun in the morning, I'm getting a bit nervous about this, I've never run with others ever. I've been a lone runner since I started, I can't even hold a conversation when I run although some motorist must have heard some funny strange noises coming from me lately as I've been singing along (well trying) to my music to practice.

Agreed - there is no need to be in any way nervous about Parkrun, you just turn up and run. You don't even need to talk to anyone if you don't want to. You'll really enjoy it once you're in the crowd at the start line!

You'll be fine and you are running with someone you know! Take it from someone that battled the demons (turning up and not knowing anyone) and being very slow you can do it and it definatley isn't as scary as you think. I had to tell a stranger I couldn't do the run / talk thing yet...maybe in a few weeks.
