Week Three Run Three

Woo hoo, week three is done! I found this one way easier than I expected which was wonderful. I decided to get out of the house as early as I could this morning, so I'm amazed that it's not even nine o'clock and already I'm back and showered. It's been so hot lately that I thought if I left it too late, I might melt in the heat.

One thing I noticed about this run was that I was able to run much faster than in previous runs. It actually felt like a proper run rather than just my usual shuffling jog. I'm sure my legs will be killing me later but it felt so good to be able to push myself to run properly on the last three minutes.

I think I needed to push myself a bit because I've had quite a hard week. I got turned down on yet another job application and on top of this, my partner is losing his job :( I really felt like I needed to get out there and run away the demons. It's really helped.

I'm going away this weekend so I'll have to have two days of rest but I think that'll be OK. Really looking forward to week four! I wrote a post on my regular blog (trichquestions.wordpress.com) about running and all of my friends have been supportive. One even said he'd buy me some running equipment for my birthday which was sweet. I've been trying to convince them all to come with me but I guess it's a bit daunting if you've never run before.

Once again, I'm really glad I can log on here and read other people's stories. It's so good to see us all at different stages on the same path and really getting a lot out of this programme. Only thing is - and this might seem a bit silly - but I was quite hurt that my last blog on here seems to be the only one without any comments at all. I think it's so important that we all keep encouraging one another because that's exactly what this community is for. I really like leaving messages for other people, especially people who are going through the same things as me.

Bring on Week Four!

Well Done sercreative,

I'm not far behind you - got W3R2 tomorrow.

I know exactly where you are coming from on the work front - I've had a number of job refusals recently and I'm finding that getting out there clears the head and helps to put life in perspective - keep your chin up I'm sure something will come along soon!

Sorry to hear you are having a tough time at the moment, but well done for completing week 3, what a superstar! x
