I have just finished week 2 of the b210k and i'm finding it tough and exhausting so i'm hoping Laura will have something different for me to try
Does anybody have any news on Laura's new podc... - Couch to 5K
Does anybody have any news on Laura's new podcasts?
I did week 2 of b210k this morning, such a long run! Have been using the week1 to run/run a bit faster too...quite agree, missing laura!!
I didn't do another plan straight away. It might be worth sticking around 5k for a few weeks; always finding the runs tough and exhausting might de-motivate you and we don't want that!!
Keep at it. This program is completely doable. I am 56 years old and have never jogged a day in my life although I love to walk and play tennis. I have lost 23 pounds since January when I started the program along with Weight Watchers. I am on week 7 run3 now have no trouble. The hardest week for me was week 5 but the progression is good. I found by repeating some of the runs if I had missed more than 2 days was very beneficial. I am looking at doing a 5k at the coast (it's flat) in July. Should be ready. Hang in there. It's a good program.
Thanks guy, I think I might stick to the 5k runs for a couple of weeks more before i step up to the 10k programme, although I graduated more than 4 weeks ago from the 5k. The trouble is I like goals and beating my 5k time is now getting really tough so I easily get frustrated. Also its warming up down here (South of France) so I think I was silly to have run during the day rather than my normal early morning time. The heat does seem to sap your energy very easily even with constant sips of water
